Hack Pack in-line design draws its cues from popular Nike collaborators like Off-White and sacai for a perfectly imperfect deconstructed look.
This “Iron Grey” colorway opts for a vibrant mix of neon-adjacent hues. The lateral Swoosh is absent from its usual perch on the midfoot, with nothing more than loose threads showing where it would usually be placed.
However, it’s not gone completely. If you look at these Blazer Mid Edges from the top down, you’ll notice that this Swoosh has been juxtaposed onto the toebox, where it cleverly serves as an asymmetrical mudguard. It’s then secured by another triangular-shaped overlay that hangs down from the bottom eye stays, almost serving as a small wing of sorts.
Where the lateral side is an exercise in vivid conceptual branding, the lateral side is all classic. Swooshes are left completely intact and lead up into a heel tab with further Nike branding. Each tongue is doubled up — providing the aforementioned sacai cues — and proffers an interesting twist: the first tongue uses exposed foam in classic Blazer style, while the overlaid tongue is significantly thinner, and is equipped with a Nike SB Low Pro hit. Finally, the midsole features an extra layer that wraps around its rear half for a little more texture.Show Less -
