Dutch artist Piet Parra (1976) is best known for his curved post-Pop imagery, highly saturated colors, vibrant hand-drawn letters and worlds inhabited by hybrid, surreal characters. Parra is known for being part of the underground art movement in Amsterdam. His first collaboration with Nike was the legendary 'Amsterdam' Air Max 1—debuted in 2005, working with Nike SB has been a long time coming for Parra.

This time, the collaboration comprises a pair of low Nike SB Dunks and a pair of Blazer Lows. To compliment the SB's, the collaboration features an assortment of t-shirts, pants, caps, a polo shirt, and even socks. The design holds traditional to the artists manner and visually reminiscent of Henri Matisse’s cut-outs, with incredibly powerful and recognizable expression, thanks to their intense color and subtle humor.

The signature element of the drop is a layered multi-colored Swoosh, which adorns the Dunk’s sides and most of the apparel.

Speaking of the Dunk, they are featured in a crispy all-white leather upper material, white on a white outsole. The traditional Nike SB tongue label is replaced by a Parra woven label and a blue mini swoosh on the toebox. Embroidered Parra and SB with a special font on the back heels. To complete the setup the shoe comes with 2 pairs of laces. One white and one with Parra branded lace tips or a multi-color one.

For the Nike SB Blazer Low, it features the same creamy white leather silhouette and textured outsole. The details are quite similar to the dunk. Multi-colored inside, Parra’s trademark color pink, red and blue layered stitches swoosh. Parra tongue etiquette and SB and Parra embroidered on the back heel with an extra colored stripe.
