On Wednesday, June 3, 2026, FRAME RUN CLUB welcomed more than 300 runners to Dubai Design District for Global Running Day 2026.

Powered by ASICS, the evening brought together runners from across Dubai for an open-paced 5K community run along the d3 Canal, followed by ASICS footwear trials, runner support by Therafit, recovery at the Oatly Recovery Bar, and a community raffle featuring prizes from ASICS, Therafit, and FRAME.

Global Running Day is observed around the world as a shared celebration of movement. In Dubai, the occasion became something more immediate: hundreds of people arriving after work, moving through the city together, and staying long after the final runner returned.

MORE THAN A 5K

Check-in opened at FRAME as runners gathered in Dubai Design District ahead of the evening session.

Some arrived for their first community run. Others came with familiar crews, training partners, and friends. Different backgrounds, different abilities, and different reasons for running were brought together by one shared route.

Following a guided warm-up, the group moved onto the d3 Canal for an accessible 5K community run designed to accommodate a wide range of runners and paces.

There was no race clock and no pressure to finish first.

The purpose was to move together.

FRAME RUN CLUB crew members and pace leaders helped runners settle into a steady rhythm, allowing more than 300 participants to experience the canal route as one connected running community.

POWERED BY ASICS

ASICS powered the Global Running Day session, supporting the run while giving participants an opportunity to experience performance footwear outside the traditional retail environment.

Before the start, runners visited the ASICS Test Station to try selected ASICS running shoes and take them onto the actual 5K route.

A running shoe can feel very different once it leaves the fitting area. Cushioning, stability, responsiveness, fit, and transition become clearer through movement. The ASICS Test Station allowed runners to experience those characteristics under real running conditions along the Dubai Design District Canal.

Rather than treating product discovery as a separate retail moment, the Test Station placed it directly inside the community running experience.

This gave participants a more informed way to understand how different ASICS footwear models responded to their individual stride, pace, and running style.

RUNNER SUPPORT BY THERAFIT

Therafit provided dedicated runner support throughout the evening.

Before the run, the Therafit team offered sports taping to participants who required additional preparation and physical support. Runners were also able to speak with the team about mobility, body awareness, physical readiness, and recovery.

Therafit remained present throughout the session to provide practical assistance and support where needed.

Their role extended beyond post-run treatment. By placing runner care before, during, and after the session, Therafit reinforced an essential part of sustainable running: consistency depends not only on training, but also on preparation, recovery, and understanding the body.

RECOVERY BAR BY OATLY

When the runners returned to FRAME, the run shifted into a gathering.

Oatly hosted the Recovery Bar, serving complimentary post-run drinks and creating a place for participants to cool down, reconnect, and remain together after completing the 5K.

The Recovery Bar was not simply the final station of the event. It became a meeting point where different pace groups came back together, new runners were introduced, and conversations continued beyond the route.

Training plans were shared. Future races were discussed. Familiar faces stayed longer, and first-time visitors became part of the community.

The kilometres brought everyone together. The time after the run gave the evening its shape.

A COMMUNITY RAFFLE

The evening concluded with a community raffle featuring prizes provided by ASICS, Therafit, and FRAME.

After the final runners returned and gathered at FRAME, the raffle brought the full community together once more. Running products, runner support experiences, and prizes from the three partners were shared with participants as part of the Global Running Day celebration.

The raffle was more than an added giveaway. It reflected the collaborative structure of the event: ASICS supporting performance and footwear discovery, Therafit providing runner care, and FRAME creating the space where Dubai’s running community could meet, move, and remain connected beyond the run.

RUNNING THROUGH DUBAI DESIGN DISTRICT

Dubai’s running culture continues to grow through the people, crews, brands, and independent communities that consistently create space for others to move.

For FRAME RUN CLUB, Dubai Design District is not simply a meeting point. The d3 Canal is part of the club’s regular rhythm and an important urban running route connecting movement with the wider creative community surrounding FRAME.

Global Running Day brought that rhythm to a larger scale.

More than 300 runners shared the same 5K route, but the evening was never defined by the number alone. It was defined by how the community moved: across different paces, with space for new runners, and with a reason to remain together after the run was complete.

FRAME RUN CLUB was built around a simple idea: running becomes more sustainable when it becomes part of a shared routine.

Not every session needs to be a race.
Not every run needs to be fast.

Progress can begin with arriving, finding a pace, and continuing alongside others.

Global Running Day 2026 reflected that idea at its largest scale so far. Powered by ASICS, supported by Therafit, and recovered with Oatly, the event brought performance, runner care, recovery, and community into one evening at FRAME.
