FRAME is proud to present ‘FRAME and FRIENDS,’ a special collaboration project with 4 local brands; Too Dark To See Tomorrow, ANTHLGY, Shabab and Lahjtna, during the October Edition of Fashion Forward Dubai.

Each unique t-shirt designed by the 4 local brands were screen printed by the founder of the emerging label INDVLST.

The designs are printed on t-shirts that are made of 100% USA cotton, durable, and absorbent. These one of a kind pieces are not only for the eyes, but also for the body to feel comfortable in.

Shabab is a platform and lifestyle brand that explores the world through sports and leisure. The design of the t-shirt created for FRAME encompasses elements of sentiment and nostalgic memories, expressed in an honest manner through a soulful and simple drawing.

ANTHLGY was established in 2015 with a vision to support the local skate and art scene. It’s vision sarcastic, anarchic and parodic. The Collaboration with FRAME plays with these qualities. Designed by Rami Afifi, the T-shirt is a depiction of the cliched often ignorant views of Arabs from the Western perspective. Each element of the graphic features the most blatant stereotypes from the evil villain Jafar, to “cool” Arabic typography, and of course, the ever present symbol of the Middle East, the camel.

2D2C2M is a contemporary clothing label that produces a collection of ready-to-wear primed for this era's people. Short for (Too Dark To See Tomorrow), the brand takes a bold approach with their unapologetic concepts and multicultural perceptions since its 2015 establishment. The Riyadh-based unisex-wear brand produces goods in a manner that is informed by past experiences and the vagueness of the present.

A trip to mars and never back is a metaphorical concept that is referencing being lost in thoughts and fantasies. That state of mind could often make you not aware of distinguishing between what’s true and it isn’t, to the point of where you start believing that your fantasies are your reality.

Lahjtna is a peculiar bilingual brand founded by Aisha Abdulaziz. It's about Emirati dialects and culture, in which it addresses modern as well as traditional topics, trends, folklore stories and ideologies that have been passed down through generations. There are lots of hidden symbolism, satire and irony in their work.
