The most extraordinary Swedish skate brand, Polar Skate Co. collaborated with Nike SB for a limited release. The drop features the infamous Air Trainer 1, a model popularized by tennis legend John McEnroe in the late '80s that hasn't been seen much in recent years. The decision of resurrecting the Air Trainer into the world of skateboarding comes from reminiscing to the early to mid-2000s when almost every Nike SB collection came with at least one pair of Air Trainer 1. Polar’s twist on the old-school high-top kick’s features “Polar” lettering across the Velcro strap instead of “Nike Air” and a black/purple suede and leather upper.
