With all the eyes on the SB Dunks this year, Nike takes advantage of the spotlight to highlight a new exciting release - the Nike SB Dunk Low Pro ‘Barcelona’. This release is evidently inspired by one of the biggest football teams sponsored by Nike, FC Barcelona. Taking into consideration that the city of Barcelona is also a global hotspot for skateboarding, this marriage of the two worlds does not come as a surprise.

The visual references on this Dunk Low model are easily recognisable by any football fan. This is so due to the sneakers featuring a full suede upper in the club’s iconic colours: blue, red and yellow. Nike Sb has given this model an asymmetrical, mismatched treatment as the colour blocking is reversed for the two shoes. A highlight akin to the FC Barcelona brand is the almost gold swoosh which also appears on these sneakers. Finally, the shoes are given a classic white midsole and gumsole combo to complete this football and skateboarding crossover.
