Jigmastas: "Resurgence" LP

Jigmastas release, ‘Resurgence’ is short in length, but full of quality. Spinna does his typical work with sample based, boom-bapish beats accented with some synthesized sounds. He doesn’t sound better than ever. He sounds just as good as he’s always been. Kryminul on the other hand does sound better than ever. I remember on ‘Infection’ being a bit too wordy. It felt like he was trying to fit too many words into the bar. Perhaps others enjoyed this. I hope so. I typically prefer a more laid back; less is more approach to rhyming. Kryminul seems to take this approach on ‘Resurgence.’ By Reducing he expands. It is a beautiful thing.
