Saturday Long Run featuring the adidas Hyperboost Edge Test Station
SATURDAY LONG RUN
Featuring the adidas Hyperboost Edge Test Station
A community long run where education, movement, and product experience came together over 15 kilometres.
Hosted by FRAME RUN CLUB
Hyperboost Edge Test Station by adidas Running
On Saturday, April 18, FRAME RUN CLUB welcomed runners for its weekly Saturday Long Run, joined by adidas Running with a Hyperboost Edge Test Station, Maurten with a fueling workshop, and Therafit Physiotherapy with a guided pre-run mobility session.
Rather than turning the morning into a product launch, the session focused on something more valuable—giving runners the opportunity to experience the Hyperboost Edge in the environment it was designed for.
Fifteen kilometres.
One steady pace.
One shared route.
A SATURDAY BUILT FOR DISTANCE
Every Saturday, FRAME RUN CLUB brings together runners across Dubai for a long run that prioritises consistency over speed.
Long runs create space to build endurance, learn pacing, and spend time alongside other runners without the pressure of competition.
That made the morning an ideal opportunity for adidas Running to bring the Hyperboost Edge Test Station to the community.
Instead of asking runners to judge a shoe after a few steps inside a store, the Test Station invited participants to experience the shoe over a complete long-distance session.
The road became the testing ground.
HYPERBOOST EDGE TEST STATION
The morning began with the adidas Running Hyperboost Edge Test Station.
Participants had the opportunity to wear the Hyperboost Edge before the run and experience the shoe throughout the 15K route.
Long-distance running reveals far more than an initial impression.
As the kilometres accumulate, runners begin to understand how cushioning responds under repeated impact, how stable the platform feels as fatigue builds, and how naturally the shoe moves through an extended effort.
The Test Station transformed product discovery into a real running experience.
Instead of demonstrating the shoe, it allowed runners to build their own opinion through movement.
FUELING BEFORE THE MILES
Before heading onto the route, Maurten hosted a short workshop introducing practical fueling strategies for longer training sessions.
The session focused on how runners can better manage energy before and during long-distance efforts, helping participants understand that fueling is an essential part of endurance training rather than something reserved only for race day.
Education has become an important part of FRAME RUN CLUB’s Saturday sessions, supporting runners beyond the kilometres themselves.
PREPARING TO MOVE
Therafit Physiotherapy led a guided mobility and stretching session before the start of the run.
Preparation is often overlooked, yet it forms the foundation of every successful long run.
By helping runners improve mobility and activate key muscle groups before the session, Therafit reinforced an increasingly important part of modern running: taking care of the body before asking it to perform.
FIFTEEN KILOMETERS TOGETHER
At 7:00 AM, the group left FRAME and settled into the rhythm of the Dubai Canal.
Different pace groups naturally formed across the route.
Some runners were preparing for upcoming races.
Others were building their aerobic base.
Some simply wanted to spend another Saturday morning with the community.
No matter the objective, every runner shared the same route.
That has always been the philosophy behind FRAME RUN CLUB.
Every pace has a place.
THE GATHERING
After the run, everyone returned to FRAME for the weekly gathering.
The morning shifted from movement to conversation.
Runners shared their impressions of the Hyperboost Edge, discussed fueling strategies introduced by Maurten, reflected on the session, and caught up with familiar faces over coffee.
The run may have finished.
The community remained.
WHERE PRODUCT MEETS COMMUNITY
The Hyperboost Edge Test Station reflected a simple idea.
Running products become meaningful when they are experienced through real training rather than retail presentation.
By bringing the Test Station into the weekly Saturday Long Run, adidas Running allowed runners to understand the shoe within a routine they already knew.
Maurten added practical education around endurance.
Therafit prepared runners before the effort.
FRAME RUN CLUB provided the route, the rhythm, and the community that connected everything together.
KEEP SHOWING UP
Every Saturday tells a different story.
The route changes.
The conversations change.
The reasons for running evolve.
What remains constant is the commitment to keep showing up.
The Hyperboost Edge Test Station became part of that rhythm—not by replacing it, but by joining it.
One morning.
One community.Fifteen kilometres together.
