On Wednesday, November 12, FRAME RUN CLUB partnered with On Running to celebrate the arrival of the Cloudmonster Hyper (PAF) through an evening built around movement, design, and community.

Rather than introducing the shoe through a conventional retail launch, the session invited runners to experience its philosophy through what matters most—a run.

Beginning at FRAME, the community headed onto the Dubai Design District Canal for a relaxed 5K social run before returning for a product presentation and gathering centred around the collaboration between On and POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF).

The evening reflected something both FRAME and On continue to believe:

RUN FIRST

Every Wednesday, FRAME RUN CLUB brings together runners from across Dubai for an open community session.

Some arrive after work.

Some are preparing for their next race.

Others simply want to move with the community.

The pace remains social.

The conversations continue between kilometres.

On November 12, that familiar rhythm became the setting for one of On’s most distinctive collaborations.

Instead of separating the launch from the run, the evening allowed the community to experience the Cloudmonster Hyper (PAF) within the same environment where running naturally happens.

Movement came first.

The product followed.

CLOUDMONSTER HYPER (PAF)

The Cloudmonster Hyper (PAF) represents the collaboration between On and POST ARCHIVE FACTION, combining performance running technology with PAF’s progressive approach to contemporary design.

While the technical platform remains rooted in performance running, the collaboration explores a different visual language—one where movement, structure, and form become equally important.

Presented in three colourways, the collection introduced a distinctive interpretation of the Cloudmonster Hyper while remaining true to its intended purpose: fast, responsive road running.

Rather than positioning the collaboration purely as a fashion project, FRAME introduced it within an active running community.

The shoe was presented in the environment it was built for.

FIVE KILOMETRES THROUGH D3

Following QR check-in at FRAME, runners made their way onto the D3 Canal.

The route followed the familiar out-and-back course connecting Dubai Design District with the Business Bay Canal before returning to FRAME.

The session remained intentionally accessible.

No pace targets.

No pressure.

Just a shared five kilometres through one of Dubai’s most recognisable urban running routes.

TRANSLATING MOTION INTO FORM

Once the runners returned to FRAME, the session shifted from movement to conversation.

On presented a concise product briefing introducing the design philosophy behind the Cloudmonster Hyper (PAF)and the collaboration with POST ARCHIVE FACTION.

Rather than focusing solely on technical specifications, the discussion explored how performance footwear can also become a design object without losing its original purpose.

The conversation reflected FRAME’s own approach to retail.

Running products are not separated from design.

Performance and culture can exist within the same object.

The gathering created space for runners to ask questions, experience the product more closely, and continue conversations beyond the run itself.

COMMUNITY AFTER THE RUN

The run ended.

The evening continued.

As always, FRAME became a place for conversation rather than simply the start and finish point.

Runners stayed to explore the collection, exchange thoughts on the collaboration, discuss upcoming races, and spend time with the wider community.

This gathering has become one of the defining characteristics of FRAME RUN CLUB.

PERFORMANCE, DESIGN, COMMUNITY

The Cloudmonster Hyper (PAF) session demonstrated a different way of introducing a product.

Instead of creating distance between people and the object, the evening placed the collaboration directly inside a weekly community run.

POST ARCHIVE FACTION contributed a distinctive design perspective.

FRAME RUN CLUB provided the movement, the route, and the community that connected everything together.

Rather than presenting footwear inside a showroom, the session allowed the product to become part of an ongoing running culture.
